I love this DIY! I did this back on August, so it’s been on my “things to blog about” list for a while. It is truly one of my most favorite DIYs, and it was SO easy! Today I’m going to show you how I turned an old $5 window frame from Craigslist into a jewelry organizer.
I loved this old frame. It came from a building in downtown Raleigh that was being renovated. The glass was already knocked out, so I thought it would be great for a jewelry organizer. First I sanded the frame for any old paint remnants and reinforced the corners to make it more sturdy.
Then, I attached chicken wire to the bottom panes. I used a staple gun
to get the chicken wire where I wanted it, then I used pliers to trim
the excess wire.
Next, Adam helped me drill holes where I wanted hooks and attach brackets so I can hang the finished project on the wall.
Then I wiped the window down, found the perfect wall space, and organized my jewelry!
What was your latest DIY/Pinterest project? How did it turn out?
How do you organize your jewelry?
